The Mission of the Community Services Department is to
provide an array of educational and recreational services and
programs to the citizens of Barnstable that appeal to a wide
range of ages and interests. In addition, it is the
department's duty to protect our natural environment through
proactive intervention and education; and to insure public
health and safety through management of our natural resources
and animal control activities.
